ZTRS’s Urban Rail Transit Communication Integrated Network Management Platform Passes Expert Review

Recently, the Expert Review Meeting on the Technical Achievements of the Urban Rail Transit Communication Integrated Network Management Platform, hosted by Xiamen Metro Operation Co., Ltd. and co‑organized by ZTRS Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully concluded. Strictly reviewed by industry experts from the China Association of Metros, China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group, as well as Shenzhen, Wuhan and Hangzhou Metro, this technical achievement demonstrates leading performance and innovativeness among similar research outcomes in China’s urban rail transit sector. After full discussion, the expert group unanimously approved the technical achievement for review clearance.

A Masterpiece: Precisely Addressing Industry Pain Points

The communication industry is plagued by multiple pain points, including numerous network management terminals, massive and complicated alarm information, and low fault‑handling efficiency. According to the expert panel, three major innovations of this integrated network management platform effectively tackle these industry challenges:

  • Architectural Innovation: Adopting cloud‑based layered architecture design and unified data collection standards, it realizes unified access and standardized processing of data from cross‑brand and cross‑system equipment, resolving the “chimney‑style” management bottleneck of traditional network management systems.
  • Intelligent Upgrade: Leveraging an AI‑driven fault prediction model, it automatically classifies and conducts correlation analysis on massive alarm data, greatly improving fault location accuracy and diagnosis efficiency.
  • Knowledge‑Driven Operation: Built‑in urban‑rail knowledge graph and case library enable the digital retention of fault‑handling experience, driving operation and maintenance transformation from experience‑oriented to data‑driven modes.

Verified in practice, the platform delivers comprehensive functional upgrades compared with conventional operation‑maintenance solutions. It forms a centralized integrated management system integrating situational awareness, intelligent diagnosis, knowledge base management and equipment health evaluation. It supports the shift from passive maintenance to proactive preventive maintenance, significantly boosting operation‑maintenance benefits and promoting flat and intelligent organizational evolution.

Future Outlook: A New Vision for Smart Urban Rail

Up to now, 5 technical research papers have been published in core journals during the platform’s R&D process. Relevant patents and software copyrights have been obtained, forming a complete intellectual property protection system. These results not only validate technical advancement, but also serve as vital references for industry standard‑setting.

The review panel concluded: “Boasting forward‑looking technical architecture and full coverage of line‑network operation‑maintenance scenarios, the platform achieves domestically leading intelligence and practical implementation effects. Promotion and application across other urban rail projects is recommended.”

Going forward, ZTRS will further delve into communication operation‑maintenance scenarios for metro operators. Focusing on the integration and application of cutting‑edge technologies, it will carry out iterative upgrades for the platform targeting cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and deliver sustainable innovation momentum for the digital and intelligent transformation of communication‑system operation and maintenance for metro owners nationwide.
