Deepening BRI Transportation Infrastructure: ZTRS Joins Hands with MRB and Pacific Construction to Build a Benchmark Project for Hanoi Metro Line 5

Recently, the special cooperation exchange meeting on the communication system of Hanoi Metro Line 5, Vietnam, was successfully held at ZTE Corporation’s headquarters in Shenzhen. Senior management and technical experts from ZTRS, the MRB project management team of Vietnam, the special task force of Pacific Construction Group, and specialists from Shenzhen Municipal Design & Research Institute gathered together. They conducted in-depth discussions on core topics including the overall communication solution for Hanoi Metro Line 5, cross-border implementation and multi-party collaboration, jointly pushing forward the delivery of this key BRI rail transit project co-developed by China and Vietnam.


With over two decades of deep engagement in rail transit ICT sector, ZTRS has delivered more than 300 rail transit projects across over 50 cities in China. It has also successfully rolled out benchmark projects in more than 20 overseas markets including Vietnam, Mongolia, Pakistan, Denmark and India. ZTRS boasts mature capabilities covering EPC delivery, cross-cultural technical adaptation and full-chain cross-border logistics. As a vital livelihood trunk line in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi Metro Line 5 serves as a landmark project for infrastructure connectivity between the two countries. This exchange meeting aimed to unify standards and streamline collaboration channels to lay a solid foundation for efficient project advancement.

The special exchange meeting clearly defined the subsequent project implementation roadmap and refined the rules for division of labor and collaboration among all parties, effectively addressing key pain points in cross-border project cooperation. Going forward, all parties will build upon the consensus reached at this meeting, refine special work lists, optimize the allocation of various resources, further improve implementation details of the solution, and accelerate high-quality and efficient project construction. Through high-quality cross-border infrastructure achievements, ZTRS will help boost regional connectivity between China and Vietnam and support win-win collaborative development in bilateral economy, trade and infrastructure sectors.
