On July 30, the 5th China Smart Rail Transit Conference 2020, hosted by RT Rail Transit and hailed as the weathervane for the rail transit industry, kicked off in Chengdu, the Land of Abundance. Nearly 1,500 industry elites gathered to discuss the new development of urban rail transit amid the pandemic.

ZTRS, the ZTE Corporation subsidiary dedicated to rail transit business, attended the conference led by Ye Weimin, Chairman, and Luo Shuzhen, Deputy General Manager, showcasing its flagship product — the Security Integration Platform. On the afternoon of July 30, Mr. Ye Weimin participated in the Metro Operator Leadership Forum, where he actively discussed new trends in urban rail transit development with senior managers from metro corporations.

The conference officially opened on July 31. As China’s No.1 brand for rail transit communications, ZTRS took part in the Intelligent Security Forum. Zheng Yanguang, Product Director, delivered an impressive speech, introducing ZTRS Urban Rail Transit Security Integration Platform built on GB51151-2016. It is the industry’s first platform product to pass appraisal by the urban rail public security expert group organized by the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security and the Secretariat of the GB51151-2016 National Standard Compilation Committee.

At the subsequent gala dinner, ZTRS’s Security Integration Platform project for Tianjin Metro Lines 4 and 10 won the 2019 Excellent Application Case Award for China Smart Rail Transit. The platform integrates multiple subsystems. Its outstanding performance enabling customers to rapidly detect, respond to and handle public safety risks during urban rail transit construction and operation won recognition from all attendees.
