Recently, at the Urban Rail Transit Security System Review Meeting held in Shanghai, ZTRS’ Urban Rail Transit Security Integration Platform (ISP) and Intelligent Access Control Unit (iACU) successfully passed the evaluation organized by the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security and the Secretariat of the National Standard GB51151-2016 Compilation Committee.

With China’s rapid urbanization, public demand for efficient transportation continues to grow, and more cities are developing rail transit systems. However, the enclosed spaces, high passenger volumes, and evacuation challenges make rail transit vulnerable to public safety incidents and potential targets for terrorist attacks or violent crimes.
On April 15, 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine jointly issued the national standard "Technical Code for Public Security Prevention Systems in Urban Rail Transit Engineering" (GB51151-2016), led by the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security. Implemented on December 1, 2017, this standard regulates public security prevention systems to ensure passenger safety and asset protection.
Post-implementation, the Third Research Institute and the GB51151-2016 Secretariat further compiled the "Implementation Guide for ", providing reference for compliance and ensuring accurate interpretation of requirements.
As China’s leading rail transit communications brand, ZTRS participated in drafting this Implementation Guide. Responding to national standards, we independently developed the security integration platform ISP and intelligent access control unit iACU. These integrate video surveillance, intrusion alarms, access control, security inspection, and electronic patrol subsystems to enable rapid detection, response, and resolution of public security risks.
At the review, Zheng Yanguang, ZTRS Marketing Director, stated: "The mature product has been practically applied, featuring pioneering innovations in integrated access, localized control, and edge computing that are recognized by clients."
Experts thoroughly reviewed ZTRS’ presentation. The ISP and iACU’s flexible architecture, rich functionality, scalability, and responsiveness impressed the panel, receiving unanimous endorsement.

After rigorous assessment, experts confirmed the ISP’s architecture, functionality, performance, and scalability fully comply with operational requirements and GB51151-2016 standards. They recommended further refining business scenarios/system interfaces per guidelines and strengthening subsystem partnerships.
