Industry Benchmark: ZTRS Smart O&M System Wins Outstanding Application Case Award at 8th China Smart Rail Transit Conference

From May 16-18, 2024, the 8th China Smart Rail Transit Conference hosted by RT Rail Transit was held at Xi’an High-Tech Conference Center. Over 1,500 leaders, experts, and industry peers from the urban rail transit sector gathered to discuss new demands, challenges, and approaches in multidimensional industry integration.

On the afternoon of May 17, Li Bo, Product Marketing Director of ZTRS, delivered a speech titled "Data-Driven Innovation and Practice in Smart O&M" at the conference’s Smart O&M Forum. He presented the innovative features, development status, and practical applications of ZTRS’ smart O&M system to attending industry guests.

Rail transit construction has slowed, while the existing market expands annually with rapidly rising operational costs. Cost reduction and efficiency improvement are urgent. However, the industry commonly faces issues including incomplete operational knowledge systems, low O&M intelligence/automation levels, difficult fault localization, and slow fault resolution. Thus, smart O&M system development is increasingly critical.

ZTRS’ data-driven smart O&M system adopts advanced data collection technology, knowledge graph technology, and AI algorithms. It enables real-time big data processing for rail transit equipment, root-cause fault analysis, assisted fault diagnosis, intelligent fault early warning, and equipment health assessment—effectively resolving industry pain points while improving operational efficiency/safety and reducing customer O&M costs.

Currently deployed in metro communication systems across Zhengzhou, Qingdao, Xiamen, Shanghai, Ningbo, Wuhu, and other cities, ZTRS’ smart O&M system has become an industry benchmark.

Concurrently, ZTRS Chairman Ye Weimin accepted an exclusive interview. He stated that since entering rail transit in 1998, ZTRS broke foreign monopolies by winning Guangzhou Metro Line 2’s communication project in 2000. In 2005, it secured Vietnam Railway’s signaling EPC project—becoming China’s first international signaling EPC contractor. For over 20 years, ZTRS has remained an industry pioneer trusted by clients, now serving 260+ lines across 50+ Chinese cities and 20+ international lines.

Regarding 1-3 year plans, he confirmed continuous investment in rail transit R&D to establish intelligent security and smart O&M products as industry benchmarks. ZTRS will accelerate smart station development to advance digitalization/intelligent transformation. Amidst the digital-intelligent era and new quality productive forces, ZTRS remains dedicated to serving customers and advancing rail transit.

At the awards ceremony, ZTRS’ smart O&M system received the "2023 Outstanding Application Case Award in China’s Smart Rail Transit" for its innovative technical strength and successful implementations, drawing significant attention.
