Project Significance
Following the opening of the new line, Changchun’s rail transit network has expanded from 6 to 7 operational lines, with the total operational mileage increased from 151.4 km to 174.6 km. Running west to east from Auto Park Station to East Ring Road Station, the entire 23.2 km fully underground route stretches along Dongfeng Street, Nanhu Avenue and East Ring Road, comprising 19 stations in total, including 8 interchange stations.
The line connects five urban districts of Changchun, namely Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chaoyang District, Nanguan District, Economic and Technological Development Zone and Erdao District, forming a new green transportation artery for the city’s east-west travel and greatly optimizing the urban public transport layout.
ZTRS’s Project Contribution
As a core participating contractor of the project, ZTRS undertook the equipment integration of the dedicated communication system (including dedicated wireless communication system and administrative telephone system) and completed the successful access connection to the main and backup control centers of Changchun Rail Transit Line 6.

Dedicated Wireless Communication SystemBuilt to support the safe, high-density and efficient operation of urban rail transit, the system provides wireless voice and data communication services. It covers fixed users including dispatchers at the control center and depot/parking lot, as well as station attendants, and mobile users including train drivers, disaster prevention personnel and maintenance staff. The system enables reliable voice and data information exchange, serving as a critical pillar for improving train operation safety, transportation efficiency, management standards and service quality. In case of operational abnormalities or wired communication failures, it can rapidly provide command communication support for disaster prevention, rescue and emergency disposal.

Administrative Telephone SystemThe system is mainly applied for daily official communication among various departments of Changchun Rail Transit. It supports telephone switching, non-voice service switching and diverse new service functions, and can be connected to Changchun’s public telephone network, realizing seamless communication interconnection between rail transit internal users and public network users.
Coordinated with other communication subsystems, the above systems jointly build a core communication guarantee system for the safe, efficient and intelligent operation of the metro, providing solid technical support for the smooth opening and stable operation of Line 7 Phase I.
In addition, ZTRS delivered the security integration platform system for the project. The platform establishes a two-level management system covering the rail transit control center and stations/depots, equipping operational departments with robust technical capabilities for daily operation, rapid detection and disposal of emergencies, and scientific decision-making by command authorities.
