Strategic Cooperation | ZTRS and Fuzhou Metro Jointly Build China’s First Demonstration Line for Security Integration Platform

Recently, at the expert review meeting for the Security Integration Platform Project of Fuzhou Metro Line 5 Phase I held by Fuzhou Metro, Fuzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co., Ltd., China Railway Communication & Signal Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., the GB51151-2016 Standard Compilation Group and ZTRS reached a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build China’s first demonstration project for the security integration platform.

Since the official implementation of GB51151-2016 Technical Code for Engineering of Public Security Prevention Systems in Urban Rail Transit, Fuzhou Metro has been among China’s first metro operators to independently build a security integration platform in compliance with this standard. The Security Integration Platform Project of Fuzhou Metro Line 5 (Phase I), undertaken by ZTRS, serves as China’s first demonstration project built based on GB51151-2016.

The multi-party strategic cooperation, especially with participation of the expert panel from the GB51151-2016 standard compilation group, will greatly deepen the understanding of national standard GB51151-2016 among participating enterprises and business units. It helps pool resources to deliver a demonstration project meeting urban rail public security requirements and Fuzhou Metro’s practical operational needs. The project will accumulate valuable experience for security integration platform construction and network planning for Fuzhou Metro and other metro lines nationwide, facilitating the promotion and implementation of GB51151-2016.

The expert panel for this review meeting consists of core drafters of GB51151-2016 and experts from Fuzhou Public Security Bureau. Ren Hai, Secretary-General of the GB51151-2016 Standard Compilation Leading Group and member of the National Urban Rail Transit Standardization Technical Committee under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, acts as the panel leader.

After listening carefully to reports from the design institute, the subcontractor implementing the security integration platform and Fuzhou Metro Operation Branch, reviewing relevant documents, and conducting inquiries and discussions, the expert panel unanimously concluded that the construction scheme for the Security Integration Platform Project of Fuzhou Metro Line 5 Phase I complies with GB51151-2016, with complete content, and can be used as the basis for subsequent project implementation.
