The concept of “new infrastructure” was first put forward at the Central Economic Work Conference in December 2018. In April 2020, the National Development and Reform Commission incorporated “new infrastructure” into the Government Work Report and clarified its scope for the first time. Among initiatives including 5G infrastructure, big data centers, artificial intelligence, industrial internet and urban rail transit, security systems serve as an indispensable component. Against this backdrop, the Shenzhen Security Industry Association hosted the China Intelligent Security & New Infrastructure Industry Development Forum themed “New Opportunities for Intelligent Security amid New Infrastructure” at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on September 13, 2020. The forum gathered more than 300 attendees including public security officials, heads of security associations nationwide and representatives of outstanding enterprises to discuss the future development trends of new infrastructure.
At the forum, Niu Jin, Director of the Expert Committee of Shenzhen Security Industry Association and former Deputy Director-General of the Science, Technology and Informatization Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, stated in his address that the forum would strongly drive continuous innovation of intelligent security riding on the wave of new infrastructure and lift the industry to new heights.

Meanwhile, to recognize outstanding players and select premium security brands, the conference presented the 3rd Intelligent Security Outstanding Solution Awards under the principles of objectivity, fairness and impartiality. ZTRS’s self-developed Urban Rail Transit Security Integration Platform, successfully deployed on Fuzhou Metro Line 5, won the Outstanding Solution Award with recognition from the judging panel.
